The winemaker

Domaine de Chantegut is located in Sarrians in the northern Vaucluse region. The history of this family estate began in 1959, when Rémy Marseille planted the first vines on 10 hectares. In the years that followed, the estate grew to 27 hectares, including a building, formerly a silkworm nursery, now used as a wine-making cellar. In 1981, Rémy Marseille died accidentally, leaving a promising estate to his son Pierre, who decided to perpetuate the work undertaken. Today, Domaine Chantegut covers 58 hectares, including 21 hectares of AOC Vacqueyras, with the emblematic Dentelles de Montmirail and the summit of Mont Ventoux in the background.
