The winemaker

Originally, his estate covered 5 hectares of vines. Today, it extends over 45 hectares in the Côtes du Rhône Village Valréas appellation. For commercial reasons (customer demand, market needs), some of the wines produced are downgraded to Côtes du Rhône Village and Côtes du Rhône. In 1999, the entire estate was converted to organic farming to protect the water table and the environment, and to produce wines that are as representative as possible of the Valréas terroir. The wines produced are: - Red 70% - Rosé 20 - whites 10%. The wines are vinified in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks with automatic pigeurs, with cuvaisons of varying lengths depending on the type of wine required (generally between 8 and 20 days). The reds are then aged before bottling in concrete vats, or in barrels for the Valréas 2010 cuvée, aged in oak barrels for a year.
