The winemaker

The birth of Rhonance Inheriting a hectare of vines, Jean-Luc and Emmanuelle purchase in 2010, 10 hectares in the hills of Avignon near the monastery of Bonpas (13th century). Their eldest son, Valentin returns to wine school of Orange. In 2011, the vineyard grows with 14 hectares of Saint Justin to create a vineyard of 24 hectares in one piece giving the wine its particular field of expression. Our daily work We strive every day to the good development of the vine to get the closest point of the balance between vegetation (leaf number, length of branches ...) and the load carried by grapes stem each year to find this quality in the wine tasting. We take great care in the health of our vines by observing carefully the daily health of the plant and practice a traditional winemaking, reasoned and organic to help the plant to naturally find this biological balance throughout its cycle in him maintaining its capital natural defenses. Domaine Saint Justin is certified organic since 2012. The harvest is done at night for white grapes and the morning only for red grapes to enjoy the night and morning freshness needed to keep all fruit aromas.
