The winemaker

Small family winery located in Valreas in Organic Agriculture In 1965, Romain Bouchard left his native Burgundy and created the Domaine du Val des Rois. 8th generation winemaker father to son, former student of the higher Angers agronomy school, he experimented its wine making and participated in the creation of the appellation. In 1995, Emmanuel BOUCHARD, training Biologist Pharmacist resumes operation. In 2001, his wife Erika MEYER develops hospitality at Domaine. In 2013, the field is labeled as organic. Valreas: the northernmost villages of CDR, the typicality of Valreas has the freshness and finesse that contrasts with the power of the southernmost villages. Between Valreas and Vinsobres, the clay and limestone slopes are conducive to the expression of the wine.
