The winemaker

The Sang des Cailloux estate was created in 1975 when the two Ricard brothers separated. At the end of 1979, Serge Férigoule was hired by J. Ricard as a farm hand. The owner, who had no descendants, was looking for a successor. In 1982, he decided to form a partnership with Serge Férigoule, who became the proud owner of Sang des Cailloux in 1990. A new era dawned on the estate, with Serge Férigoule working, expressing and refining his philosophy on his terroir. The construction of the new winery in 2001 enabled him to refine the work carried out in the vines all year round, thanks to a battery of vats of varying volumes. With the arrival of Frédéri (Serge's son), who has been with the estate for almost 10 years, it was decided to work organically and biodynamically. Marie-Carmen's team (sales relations) has grown with the arrival of Alaïs (cellar), Frédéric Tavernier (vines and cellar) and Marion Saint-Pierre (accounts).
