The winemaker

Les Maitres Vignerons de Gallargues and Maitres Vignerons de Vauvert we decided to combine their skills in research quality to satisfy you. Operation carried out in 2010, they are now called Les Maitres Vignerons Curbs and Garrigues, and Vauvert Gallargues. They realize a production of about 50 000 hectoliters of wine pays d'Oc and Costières de Nîmes. The village of Gallargues Montueux is located in the southeast of France between Nimes and Montpellier. At 15 minutes from the Mediterranean coast and an hour of the first Cevennes foothills, the village is ideally placed. A Roman bridge and the remains of the famous Domitian that connected Rome with Spain, are among the many attractions of this tourist village. The cooperative winery was founded in 1929. Following a restructuring of its vineyards in the 90s, the winery has specialized in the production of white wine chardonnay and sauvignon. Red, new grape varieties have been planted as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard of Gallargues also extends over the communes of Aubais and Villetelle allowing him to occupy various lands, from the nature of alluvial silts up clay and limestone slopes. Currently, production is about 20 000 hectoliters of Pays d'Oc wine, half white, for 300 hectares. The diversity and quality of its varietals allow winemakers Gallargues Montueux get annually medals in major wine competitions.
