A beautiful discovery that domain Olibrius! In 2009 this confidential area is created. At its head, Marc DANIELOU a passionate long-time wine embarks on this adventure by acquiring a small plot in Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun. Gradually, this area is enlarged and represents about 2.5 hectares today. On these lands Gardoises Marc DANIELOU particularly fond of the old vines. These old vines Carignan, Grenache, Clairette and Counoise that give the wines depth, concentration and a special character. Marc DANIELOU, self-taught and daring, here develops a strong personality wines do not leave indifferent the majority of tasters. Technical side: After handpicking in crates, the grapes are de-stemmed. The vinification is done in small vats, grape by grape. The fermentation and maceration are long of 4 to 8 weeks. After racking the wine vats are to perform malolactic fermentation homogeneous and then transferred into drums for a period of 10 to 24 months. This new vintage wine is vinified and aged in barrels. - The Rose of Olibrius is a fresh rose, balanced and relatively powerful made from Carignan - In red wines in 3 different style but all aged in oak barrels. The Iskis wine (Côtes du Rhône), the vintage Laudun (CDR Laudun) and the Cuvée Prestige ORiSTAL (Côtes du Rhône) that has the distinction of being high 30 months, including 24 in casks. ...
