The winemaker

Ancient terroir for wines with character


The estate covers two prestigious appellations: Bergerac and Monbazillac. The grape varieties are typical of these rich wines: Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet for the reds, Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle for the whites. On this clay-limestone, partly loamy soil, the vineyard has always been cultivated in a reasoned manner, a practice that is constantly being improved with a view to enhancing quality.

Bergerac and Monbazillac wines


Thanks to its 85 hectares of vineyards, Château Belingard boasts a large number of varied and typical cuvées. The deep, tannic reds share the richness of the local gastronomy, and often develop interesting ageing potential. The whites, never really dry, benefit from privileged sunshine on rich soil, magnifying above all exceptionally high-quality fruit. Finally, sweet wines are the hallmark of a long tradition with a worldwide reputation.
