The winemaker
Sitting on 12 hectares of vines in production in 1986 Armelle and Jean-Marie Huré developed the vineyard to reach 33 hectares currently in operation. Wishing to respect traditional winemaking methods, they were able to introduce a touch of modernity which is today the wines of Château Tourmentine among the most renowned in Appellations of Origin and SAUSSIGNAC Bergerac. Since their arrival on the field, Armelle and Jean-Marie have renovated listed buildings "buildings of character" in their original style. In 2001, some of the buildings has been transformed into a barrel cellar and tasting room.
