In a few words ...
Domaine Plageoles, which has been run since 1805, now comprises two estates: Domaine des Très Cantous and Domaine de Roucou-Cantemerle. In total, the 30-hectare vineyard is farmed biodynamically, with 20 hectares reserved for white wine production and 10 hectares for reds.\nThe great particularity of the plageoles estate lies in its grape varieties! Faithful to and committed to the Gaillacois culture, it is planted with the fourteen indigenous and forgotten grape varieties of the Gaillacois, including the seven families of mauzac. As a result, they are able to create a wide variety of highly original wines, the likes of which we haven't seen for several centuries.\nAs far as production methods at the winery are concerned, the aim is to make wines using traditional, natural methods. \Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeast, and the use of sulfites and sulfur is minimized.
