The first red wine and the first vintage from domaine laroque d'antan.after having régalé with néphèle, claude and lydia bourguignon have produced on 4 hectares (density 9615 vines per hectare) 1586 bottles of a great red wine. Questions cépages ? A blend of five "cépages" from a massal selection of the finest estates in France:40% malbec from the massal selection of domaine corbin-michotte30% cabernet franc from the massal selection of domaine le clos rougeard20% prunelard from the massal selection of domaine robert plageoles5% de cot à pied rouge from the massal selection of domaine la grange thiphaine5% nigrette from the massal selection of château plaisancece nigrine 2018 was marked by a rainy spring and a very hot, dry summer. The berries were small but with superb concentration. Few bottles (1586) but great bottles for a wine that will reveal itself in 5 to 10 years. A great, great wine to come, to be forgotten in the cellar or decanted (2 hours).
