The bordaxuria farm is located opposite saint jean pied de port, on the steep slopes (over 40%) of the arradoy. It comprises 7 hectares of terraced vineyards. These hand-worked terraces mean lower planting density (between 2,500 and 4,000 vines per hectare) and therefore lower yields (between 25 and 30 hl per hectare). The 240m difference in altitude (from 100m to 340m) and the associated climatic conditions enable this exceptional terroir, dominated by iron-rich red sandstone, to produce great wines. Last but not least, the south-facing slope of the vineyards provides generous amounts of sunshine, contributing to the full ripening of the juices. blend of tannat and cabernet franc, aged in stainless steel vats for 11 months.

Lots of aromas on the nose. A dark wine with an almost black color. Very pleasant attack on the palate, with well-integrated tannins. The work is all the more remarkable for being entirely manual.
