The winemaker

With the support of his lineage, its wine production grows in strength and reputation in 1971 with obtaining the AOC A.O.C. Originally, the then vineyard hardly counted more than ten hectares of vines, near the meanders of the Lot. In the 50s, Jean-Marie Rigal develops considerably and built the foundations of Château Saint Didier name from a joint between the village of Parnac, also called "village wines Parnach" and an original historical character of Quercy , became Bishop of Cahors. From father to son, Jean-Marie Rigal transmits his passion and rigor to his children and Jacques Franck Rigal, which provide turn over the vineyard. In 1979 the family bought the Priory of Cenac, in Albas, in the west of Cahors. In 1987 she acquired the Castle Grézels, near Puy-bishop. These vines, mainly Malbec grape varieties, or better known in the region as the Auxerrois, are grown with just gestures, to respect natural balances, ensure their sustainability and produce quality grapes.
