In the north-east of Italy, on the edge of the Alps, the Slovenian border and the Adriatic Sea, lies the Friuli wine region. The Mediterranean climate on one side and Alpine currents on the other have a major influence on viticulture. The thin gravel soils here provide an optimal base for the predominantly white grape varieties. In the isonzo friuli region, wines have had doc status since 1974. behind the name friulano lies an autochthonous Italian grape variety. It was originally known as tocai. For fear of being confused with the tokaj variety, the name was first changed to tocai friulano, then finally to pure friulano. This fast-growing variety produces wines with a golden color and high alcohol content. Its fruity, spicy bouquet produces highly recognizable dry to sweet white wines. wine characteristics: saturated straw yellow with golden highlights, delicate fragrance of bitter almond, peach, citrus and fine nutmeg spices, velvety, full mouthfeel, with pleasant persistence. residual sugar:0.23 / acidity:5.50stainless steel vat and barrel allergene:enthält sulfite
