Terms of sale for "Primeur" Wines

TWIL is your ideal partner in the purchase of your en primeur wines, by being the digital space where wine professionals (wine merchants and producers) can reference the most vintages, even those en primeur !

Purchase and guarantee

- At the time of purchase, TWIL records your order and payment and transmits it to the seller. The seller then validates your order, subject to stocks availability, as soon as possible. The payment is debited to you only if the seller approves of your order. Don't waste time, some primeur vintages are only available for very limited periods, and on allocation.

- Buying your en primeur wines on TWIL is the guarantee to buy your bottles directly from a producer or a professional wine merchant closest to the winegrowers. TWIL works with renowned sellers or properties whose financial strength has been proven over the years. They guarantee the security of your purchase.

Receipt and balance to settle

- Your order confirmation will be sent to you immediately by e-mail. At the end of the month, an invoice will also be sent to you by the seller. Don't forget to keep it: it's your proof of purchase.

- As is the practice, the purchase of your wine en primeur is made without value added tax (VAT). The VAT will be paid when your bottles are ready to be delivered to you (i.e. approximately 18 - 24 months after the sale). VAT will be due on the initial value of the order, even if the wines have increased in value at the time of delivery.

- Payment for the delivery will also be made on the day your bottles are available. We will contact you again to give you as soon as possible your bottles ordered 18 months in advance. (storage at the seller's will not be possible).

- In the absence of payment at the date of availability of the products, the delivery will not be possible and storage fees will be charged. You will be notified by a certified letter.

Delivery commitment

In order to guarantee you the peace of mind of your purchase, TWIL commits itself to a delivery price which will be calculated as precisely as possible, and which allows you to benefit from the delivery in wooden crate if the vintage is in wooden crate. You will be informed of this price some time before the bottles are made available.

To give you an idea, here are some indicative examples of delivery rates to your home in France, which may vary according to the packaging in wooden cases or cardboard boxes (courier), by seller and by shipment.
