Molise is Italy's third-smallest wine-growing region. Numerous small, fragmented vineyards stretch from the Adriatic coast inland, at an altitude of just 600 meters. The climate is highly variable, and the further inland you go, the greater the Mediterranean influence. Not to be confused with the town of Montepulciano, this grape variety is one of the most represented in central Italy. The best known is undoubtedly Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which must be at least 70% montepulciano. Single-varietal red wines made from Montepulciano are generally deep dark in color, juicy and low in acidity. wine characteristics: characteristic rich ruby red with violet highlights, exuberant perfume of black cherries and plums, fine spices, supple and full on the palate, elegant interplay of acidity and tannins, harmonious length. residual sugar:5.80 / acidity:3.5012 months in large wooden casks, 12 months in stainless steel tanks allergene:enthält sulfite
