In a few words ...

An elite winemaker whose small La Morra estate boasts ideally situated plots, Roberto and his son produce wines of inimitable elegance in their youth, which age perfectly. A major reference in Piedmont's vineyards. Production of 1500 to 3000 bottles of each Barolo cru alone, now partly aged in foudres, more elegant than ever. The Rocche dell'Anunziata vineyard, located in the Morra area, has belonged to the estate since 2000. Until 2009, it was blended with the Torriglione vineyard. The Rocche wine is now vinified separately. The parcel totals 1.5 hectares, on clay-limestone soils.

Ruby-red colour, but slightly transparent and not very bright.

Aroma

Nose of sweet spices and dried flowers.

Wine Floral | Spicy

Taste

A juicy, very fleshy wine, with ripe, rich fruit, already very tender, with a rather precocious character. The tannins are surprisingly soft. A delicious, full-bodied wine, astonishingly precocious.
