Pleasantly warm bouquet with notes of black cherry and toast, full-bodied and elegant.la cantine due palme in cellino san marco was founded in 1989 by 400 winegrowers from the provinces of lecce, brindisi and taranto, in the center of the salento wine region. The aim was, and still is, to promote the region's native grape varieties, negro amaro, malvasia nera and primitivo, and to perfect these wines in a newly-built joint winery. This has been more than successful, and the results are impressive. Wines as clean as a whistle, with excellent value for money and excellent facilities. It's clear from every bottle that the potential of this sunny region is being exploited and implemented with great skill and the best technical equipment, as well as vinification in French barrels.
