This parcel of Domaine Les Ravinets has belonged to the Ferrraud family since 1890. This Juliénas offers a wine in the image of its terroir, both fleshy and elegant.

Pleasantly surprised by this Julienas. I'm not a big fan of Gamay, so Beaujolais wines are complicated for me to get to grips with. However, I really enjoyed this one. Admittedly, it's light, but fruity nonetheless, with fine tannins. The nose was also appreciably round.
