After ten years of experience in france, new zealand and south africa, florent barichard settled in 2013 on the sandy soils of châtel-de-neuvre and the granite soils of meillard. With the support of his aunt valérie and uncle éric nesson, who handed over just under half their vineyard to him, he manages his 9.5-hectare vineyard, divided into 3.30 hectares of white grape varieties with trésailler and chardonnay and 6.20 hectares of red with gamay and pinot noir. He works with sustainable agriculture, which means more work and constant field visits. The fruit of his work is expressed in tonicity and freshness; his wines are balanced, with bitterness, acidity, sugar and alcohol in harmony. Fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts, without adding sugar, and with the lowest possible proportions of sulfites. The wines are matured in concrete vats for the entry-level wines, and in oak barrels for the two grand cuvées. The instant t cuvée is produced from two grape varieties (Gamay 70% and Pinot Noir 30%) planted on terroirs
