In a few words ...
Situated between the villages of Sérignan and Uchaux, the estate stretches across a plateau surrounded by mountains and forests. Farmed organically, Romain also looks after the woods and olive groves, and has plans for agroforestry to create an even richer ecosystem. The soil is mostly pebbly, as in Châteauneuf du Pape, helping the grapes to ripen perfectly and protecting the vines from disease. The climate, soils and moderate altitude of this terroir contribute to slow, regular ripening of the grapes, a promise of quality.

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Boisson Delame and its 0 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
