In a few words ...
La Punition takes its name from the long and difficult 2007 harvest of a parcel of old Carignan vines planted in 1945, somewhat neglected and from which only 25 hl per hectare could be harvested. The pickers ran away from the first hour spent bent over, too hard, too hot, too dry, too few grapes per vine.
