In a few words ...

In the 14th century, when the Popes settled in Avignon, they spent their summers in Châteauneuf du Pape, thus giving their name to this small village overlooked to this day by the remains of the castle that was their residence. They encouraged wine production in this vineyard, particularly during the reign of Jean XXII. In reference to the vineyard's glorious papal history, this cuvée is a tribute. Indeed, the "Tiara" refers to the circular headdress, surrounded by three crowns, worn by the Pope during solemn ceremonies. Châteauneuf du Pape is the pride and joy of Maison Bouachon, established for over a century in the summer residence of the Popes.
