The 'Le Clos' plot is surrounded by 4-metre-high walls, creating a unique microclimate. The stones store heat during the day and release it at night. This powerful, full-bodied wine develops aromas of candied fruit and vanilla, supported by tannins matured for many years in new foudres. A perfect match for slow-cooked red meats (such as boeuf bourguignon) or strong cheeses.
