Created in 2001 by jacques montagné, clos del rey is located in the heart of a protected natural area of garrigue (rosemary, thyme, rockroses) at an altitude of 300m, among the highest plots of the cru in the commune of maury. The vines are planted on stony clay-limestone soils with iron residues, and the oldest are 120 years old.
