Domaine oratoire saint martin - les p'tits gars - blanc 2020domaine de l’oratoire saint martin is located in cairanne, in the rhône valley. Vignerons de père en fils depuis 300 ans, dix générations ont succées sur le même vignoble depuis andré alary en 1692. Frédéric and françois alary took over the business in 1984 and now farm 25 hectares on the slopes of saint martin, whose oratory, built in the middle of the vines, gave the estate its name. Most of the estate is located to the northeast of the commune of Cairanne, at an altitude of 200 m, on steep hills in an area commonly referred to as "la montagne", in the districts of les douyes and saint martin. The vines are worked without pesticides, chemical fertilizers or weedkillers, and the soil is worked completely mechanically on the old vines to bury organic compost (sheep manure) and encourage deep root development. All this work has been carried out for decades to encourage the microbial life of the soil and respect the typicity of the terroir. The domaine is certified organic and biodynamic.les p’tits gars blanc is a blend of grenache blanc, clairette, viognier and roussanne. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted in the vineyard and on a sorting table. The wine is leavened in vats.cépages : grenache blanc, clairette, viognier, roussanne

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine Oratoire St. Martin and its 5 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
