In a few words ...
Red Mâcon was Henri IV's favorite wine. The first harvests were planted by monks from Cluny Abbey. This grape variety is the oldest in southern Burgundy. It's a fleshy wine with character, which softens with age. The finish is surprisingly long, subtle and refined.
