Deep red color. On the palate, aromatic raspberry nuances are complemented by notes of red currant. Full-bodied, smooth and harmonious, with long persistence. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand to ensure optimum quality. After harvesting, maceration lasts 4-8 days at 8°c. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation at 25°c. Finally, the wine ages a few more months in steel vats before being bottled and sold at optimum maturity. Labouré-roi was founded in 1832 as a family-run business, and has been one of Burgundy's leading wine merchants ever since. The company is headquartered in nuits-saint-georges, where 1,100 barrels can be stored in ideal conditions in the original cellars. A modern annex houses a further 1,300 barrels. In order to always offer the best quality Burgundy wines, Labouré-Roi works in collaboration with a large number of estates and winegrowers.
