In a few words ...
josé pariente's first single-varietal wine is a very personal interpretation of the rueda verdejo grape variety, intense and very elegant. The grapes come from the small, more than one-hundred-year-old vineyard of las comas à la seca, and the wine is only made in special years (and unfortunately in very limited quantities). All grapes are hand-picked and sorted twice, the wines are fermented in 2250-liter Austrian oak barrels, matured on fine lees and aged in bottle for a further twelve months after bottling. Bright gold with intense aromas of herbs, fennel and a fine citrus freshness. Intense too on the palate, supple, long and complex, with a gentle balance of juicy acidity, a hint of aniseed and an elegant, slightly salty minerality. Allergene:enthält sulfite
