The result is that this 55-year-old troublemaker regularly presents the wine world with impressive Douro wines, produced since 2007 at the new quinta de nápoles, built around the old buildings. Founded in 1842 by eduard kebe, niepoort may be 'just' one of port's smaller houses, but it is one of the most refined, celebrating its 170th anniversary in 2012.
