Abbaye de LérinsEstimated delivery between 6 and May 7,
2016 was characterized by good rainfall in winter, but little from spring onwards, and a sunny but not excessively hot summer in July and August. However, the very hot days in September were a trial for the grape-pickers. The sparse rainfall in April helped the flowers on the vines to develop well. The harvest was larger than the previous year, with a later ripening but good health. Intense red color. The nose is very expressive, with a beautiful palette of oriental spices and ripe fruit. The palate is well-constructed, centered and free of tannic firmness.
Appearance
A garnet-red color with violet highlights.
Aroma
The nose expresses aromas of ripe black fruit, spices and leather.
