The winemaker

Pinna Fidelis is a collaborative project initiated in 2001 on the initiative of a group of 72 winemakers in the Ribera del Duero who, convinced of the potential of their land, have formed a cooperative. The situation of their vineyards, at the confluence of the Duero and Duratón, was a major asset to the production of wine, and time has confirmed that these pioneers were right, as they have managed to make this association a mark to success. Currently, the supply of the area is based on a total area of ​​225 hectares of vineyards, making it self-sufficient. In other words, it does not need to resort to renting vineyards, and uses only grapes from its own vineyards for the production of its wines. The harvest is done by hand, selecting the best grapes in a strict limit of 5,000 kg per hectare, which creates perfect conditions of maturity for its wines. Pinna Fidelis philosophy is based on a harmonious blend of traditional design and innovative production methods to adapt to consumer tastes modern wines and quality of one of the most entrenched A.O.C. in the Spanish wine landscape.
