Bodega SouteloEstimated delivery between 15 and Dec 17,
Born from the September full moon harvest, this Mencía reveals the soul of Ribeira Sacra's most coveted terroir. Ninety percent Mencía dances with touches of Garnacha Tintorera in a composition that speaks to centuries of viticultural wisdom. Six months in steel preserves the pure expression of slate-kissed fruit, while indigenous yeasts conduct a symphony of spontaneous fermentation. At 7mg/L sulfites-nature's own contribution-this wine embodies the philosophy that great wine needs nothing but time and respect.
Appearance
Deep ruby with violet reflections that catch light like polished obsidian. The wine clings to glass with elegant tears that speak of perfect ripeness achieved through heroic cultivation.
Aroma
Wild berries emerge first-blackberries, raspberries, and cherries from vines that coexist with indigenous flora. Floral notes of violet and wild herbs create a backdrop of mountain freshness.
