Barahonda barrica has a dark purple appearance in the glass, with incredibly rich, intense aromas of dark berries and morello cherry. The barrel adds notes of chocolate and caramel. The palate then reveals great complexity, with round notes of pepper and licorice that resonate for a long time. Around 1850, pedro candela soriano began producing and selling small quantities of wine locally, until antonio candela garcía founded a small winery in 1925. From a small local farm to a modern winery producing quality wines appreciated on international markets, five generations have handed down knowledge and tradition from father to son.
