In a few words ...

Hubert lamy, after working for many years with his father, created the domaine hubert lamy in 1973. At the time, the estate covered no more than 8 hectares, mainly planted with regional appellations. From the 1990s onwards, the estate expanded considerably: new vineyards were bought or leased: saint-aubin 1er cru "la chatenière", "derrière chez edouard", "murgers des dents de chien", "clos du meix", santenay "clos de hâtes", santenay 1er "cru clos des gravières", chassagne montrachet 1er cru "les chaumées". New plantings were carried out on previously virgin land: saint-aubin 1er cru "en remilly". Plots formerly planted with pinot noir were replanted with chardonnay: a choice made by hubert lamy, for whom these soils were better suited to this grape variety (saint-aubin "la princée", saint-aubin 1er cru "derrière chez edouard", ...). olivier lamy, after studying winemaking and viticulture and wine marketing, with numerous internships in france and abroad, joined his father in 1995. He brings new ideas that he experiments with both in the vineyard and in the winery, with hubert lamy as guarantor of the highest standards.
