In a few words ...
Like its neighbor, the illustrious Monopole Corton Grand Cru "Clos des Maréchaudes", this wine is also a monopole of Domaine du Pavillon. Our east-south-east facing parcel is located in both Aloxe Corton and Ladoix Serrigny, on the border between Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, on a brown limestone soil over scree with a high clay content. "En Mareschaut" is derived from the Old French "Maresche" (marsh), the genus of which is fefinin. The lower part of Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny was marshy due to its proximity to the Lauve spring. Extensive drainage work was carried out to reclaim the land and plant it with vines.

Bright, garnet-red color.

Fruity aromas of blackberry and strawberry with notes of sweet spices, tea and cocoa.

Very supple tannic structure, this well-balanced wine has beautiful, velvety tannins. Long, aromatic finish reminiscent of the fruity aromas of the first nose.
