The flagship cuvée of domaine de tournon, the jewel in the crown of the chapoutier galaxy in australia. 100% shiraz, on virgin red soil from the Cambrian era. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, with 10-15% new wood. Eye: deep ruby. Nose: redcurrant, leather, crushed red berries with a touch of caramel, incense and curry. Palate: a powerful, warm wine with a delicate tannic structure. Intense flavors of ripe fruit and spice combine with a beautiful acidity - a hyphen between richness and power to perfectly reflect the heathcote terroir.
