In a few words ...
The "son" of Cabernet Sauvignon Vasse Felix. It carries the structure, power and tannins of classic Cabernet in an earlier-drinking style. Produced from fruit from each of the Vasse Felix vineyards, it is blended with 11.8% Malbec, 1.5% Petit Verdot and 1.2% Merlot for complexity, and aged in light oak (12 months).

Appearance
Shiny dark Bordeaux with a violet tint.
Aroma
Blackcurrant and black cherry on the nose, complemented by notes of mushroom, oregano and hay. Underlying notes of custard and cherry, spicy oak round out the aromas.

Taste
Bright, tart black cherry arrives on a fine, round texture. This results in a long, dry finish with lingering flavors of "black forest" cake.
