The estate / the house / the cellar:
this white Burgundy from the Côte Chalonnaise reflects all the nuances of its terroir. A buissononnier wine, it comes from a selection of plots carefully chosen by the winegrowers' cooperative of the cave de buxy, in southern burgundy.
the wine:this chardonnay full of vivacity presents a limpid yellow color with golden hues. It reveals floral scents of hawthorn and acacia, with notes of bitter almond and fresh lemon aromas. The attack is straightforward, revealing its suppleness and freshness, which unfold on mineral notes typical of Côte Chalonnaise wines.
Ageing and food pairing:This crisp white Burgundy can be enjoyed now as an aperitif. Its personality goes particularly well with the iodized flavors of seafood: seafood gratin, sea urchin croustade or crab risotto. It also enhances white meats, savory tarts, quenelles and grilled vegetables. It's also a perfect match for vacherin, coulommiers and goat's milk cheeses.
