Listrac Medoc is a small appellation of 635 hectares. It produces vigorous wines, but its robustness no longer implies a certain ruggedness. 1983 was a curious year, with saw-tooth weather. The evolution of the reds over time was similar. They can still provide a great deal of pleasure. The red wines are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives them finesse and length on the palate. These wines can still be enjoyed today.

Appearance
Intense ruby to garnet color.
Aroma
Notes of black fruit with blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic scents that vary between vanilla and roasting.

Taste
Young reds are full-bodied, marked by a touch of oak and hints of sweet spices. After a few years' cellaring, the tannins mellow.
