Château/domaine des tours, located in Sarrians in the Vacqueyras appellation, is owned by the famous Emmanuel Reynaud, proprietor of the legendary Château Rayas in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Château Fonsalette. Under the name château des tours, this 40-hectare estate produces a red vacqueyras (80% grenache and 20% syrah), a red côtes-du-rhône (65% grenache, 15% cinsault and 20% syrah) and a white côtes-du-rhône (100% grenache). Under the name domaine des tours, the estate also produces a red vin de pays du vaucluse (grenache, counoise, syrah, cinsault, merlot and various other grape varieties) and a white vin de pays de vaucluse (100% clairette). Finally, under the "parisy" label, a rosé table wine made from a blend of grenache and cinsault. The wines produced by this estate are of the highest level: deep, slender, extremely fruity and with a rare balance, they are particularly renowned and sought-after. On the nose, this fine cuvée reveals evolved notes of leather and tobacco, enhanced by coffee, spices, cedar and nuts. Splendid balance without exuberance.

The appellation Vacqueyras is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine des Tours and its 2 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
