Château du Petit ThouarsEstimated delivery between 7 and May 10,
Cuvée Amiral wines are made exclusively from press wines from exceptional vintages. The wine is aged in oak barrels of 2 wines on average (duration of aging 24 on average), with a change of barrel after 12 months. This ageing allows us to combine power, elegance and length with tannins that have already melted, heralding great wines for laying down.
Appearance
Deep, brilliant garnet-red.
Aroma
Very expressive and distinctive, elegantly combining aromas of ripe red fruits, raspberry brandy, figs and a light floral note.

Taste
Superb attack with tannins already well blended and a fine balance between complexity, fruit and power. A long finish that should be left to blossom for two years before serving.
