Dense, intense color with violet highlights. Powerful, persistent, expressive nose, very ripe, concentrated with morello cherry and blackcurrant notes. Dense, concentrated attack with very ripe, powerful tannins. Mature, fat on the palate, with a silky finish enhanced by high-quality tannins.

Pomerols are usually dark ruby in color, with violet highlights when young, and brick hues as they age.
Aroma
Le bouquet est souvent très riche et complexe sur des notes de fruits noirs et rouges. On notera aussi la présence d'empyreumatiques avec du cuir, de la torréfaction et une pointe vanillée.
