Château Montus benefits from a great terroir, unique in the South-West, with a steep slope of large pebbles on fine clay from the Pyrenees. The miracle came in 1985, when this wine shook up the hierarchy of mythical great red wines and gained worldwide recognition for its Tannat varietal.
