    In a few words ...

Each vineyard parcel is vinified separately in a temperature-controlled stainless steel vat. The cellar master supervises all the vats on a daily basis to extract the full richness of the Margaux terroir. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 8 days. The wines are aged for an average of 18 months in French oak (60% new barrels). TASTING : a lot of charm in this strongly colored rauzan-ségla with aromas of blackberries and spices. Supple and dense on the palate, with good length and charm.

Le Guide Hachette des Vins Critique professionnel

"This 2014 is a typical Margaux, a happy marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon (56%) and Merlot, with a hint of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Subtle, fine and complex, the bouquet marries cherry, with a hint of macerated cherry, to the vanilla and toasty notes left by eighteen months in barrel. Explosive, ample and generous on the attack, supported by fine acidity and coated tannins, the palate appears remarkably well-balanced. The intense, elegant, long finish suggests a superb bottle in a few years' time.

    Tasting notes

    Appearance

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

    Aroma

For the Margaux appellation, we find black fruits, such as blackcurrant or blackcurrant, sometimes cooked, and an empyreumatic that gives off aromas of roasted coffee or licorice.

Wine Empyreumatic | Fruity | Roasted

    Taste

On the palate the best Margaux are those who have perfectly integrated their tannins in their structure, giving roundness. We find the aromas of the nose namely black fruits and tertiary flavors such as leather, vanilla.
