Domaien philippe alliet is a driving force behind the chinon appellation. this first cuvée is a splendid introduction to the grand cuvées of the domaine, from which it inherits the precision and freshness of fruit, benefiting from ageing in vats only. this 2023 is still crunchy. The nose is intense and elegant, with fresh, lively notes of red fruit. The palate is full and charming, with a lovely minerality. With great finesse, it is supported by very fine tannins and develops light peppery aromas on the finish. 100% Cabernet Franc. Young estate vines. Gravel soils. Aged 12 months in concrete vats.
