This wine comes from 2.2 hectares of Clos des Treilles, a south/southeast-facing hillside in the commune of Parassy. Planted in the early 1970s, the vines thrive on Kimmeridgian sedimentary clay-limestone soil, rich in siliceous limestone. This wine is aged in 60hl tuns on lees without stirring for 18 months.
"The fresh, taut density of this cuvée will generously accompany the tender, firm flesh of gambas or langoustines. White meats in sauce or foie gras will also go very well."
