The parcel owes its name to the discovery of a statue of Saint James within it, and to the presence of a chapel dedicated to him, endorsing its location on one of the many routes to Santiago de Compostela. This is a very harmonious, fresh terroir. The tannins are strong and well-integrated, with dominant aromas of blackcurrant and black berries. The wine is powerful and intense on the palate.
