The winemaker

Jean Dirler founded Vins Dirler in 1871, and the winegrowing business has continued for 5 generations. In 1998, Jean, a descendant, married Ludivine, daughter of Léon and Nicole Hell-Cadé, winegrowers in Guebwiller. From the 2000 vintage onwards, Ludivine's parents' vineyards were taken over and the estate adopted the name Dirler-Cadé. Bio-dynamic viticulture was introduced to respect the environment and improve the quality of the wines.
