The Bollenberg is the largest limestone hills Township Rouffach. This family property originated in 1887. In 1945, Clos returns to the Meyer family and then becomes a vineyard full under or the family decides to produce quality wines in order to preserve the cultural identity of Alsace. This allowed the Clos to have an established reputation for years and strict control of the wine art. e vineyard covers 25 hectares with a yield between 35 and 65 hectoliters per hectare. Added to this is the experience of three generations. However, when the wine is passion in a family we are witnessing the creation of an important aspect of sustainable development: promoting a regional product. This logic is part of a rational production of the vineyard in accordance with the evolution of vineyards. Harvesting is done by hand, the aging of wines in wooden lightning, this is a traditional system without neglecting the progress of winemaking and sales.
